Position: Single Dump Trailer Truck Driver/Operator
Location: Toledo, Ohio Area
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a single dump trailer, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Transporting and delivering various materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck’s mechanical soundness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules, updates, and any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the truck and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Ability to effectively operate single dump trailer equipment.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while on the road.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes as required.
