Position: Flatbed Truck Driver

Location: Toledo, Ohio Area

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a flatbed truck, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Load, transport, and unload various cargo using securement techniques appropriate for flatbed transportation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck’s mechanical soundness and compliance with safety regulations.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules, updates, and any issues that may arise during transportation.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the truck and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a flatbed truck driver.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in securement techniques for various types of cargo.
• Ability to effectively operate flatbed truck equipment, such as straps, chains, and binders.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while on the road.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes as required.
